As per “Employment Exchanges (Compulsory Notification of Vacancies) Act, 1959”, all Public and Act Establishments in Private Sector (having employees 25 nos. or more) are required to notify their vacancies to the nearest Employment Exchanges vacancies before filling it up.
Under the “Employment Exchanges (Compulsory Notification of Vacancies) Act, 1959” and as per the requisition of the Employers from both Public and Private Sector Establishments, the Directorate of Employment & Craftsmen Training, Assam sponsor the list of names of eligible Registered unemployed candidates for various categories of posts in prescribed format (Rule-4) for both Act and Non-Act Establishments.
